TPG IPTV not working on Chrome?

The latest Chrome (Version 42 and higher) will no longer support a plugin that TPG IPTV uses to watch selected TV channels via your PC or Notebook.

TPG IPTV not working on Chrome

Chrome version 42 and higher disabled NPAPI plugins by default.  You can still temporarily enable NPAPI plugin until Chrome version 45 is released (Late 2015).

  1. Launch your Chrome browser.
  2. In the address bar at the top of the screen, type chrome://flags/#enable-npapi
  3. Click the link that states Enable under the Enable NPAPI title.
  4. In the bottom left corner of the page, click the Relaunch Now button.

Chrome - Enable NPAPI plugin

Remember, after the release of the Chrome version 45, you’ll need to use an alternate web browser to load content that requires a NPAPI plugin. Hopefully by then TPG has another solution for their users.

UPDATES – 09.10.2015

Mozilla Firefox will drop support for NPAPI plugins by the end of 2016 and will keep continue to support Flash. That means you would still be able to use Firefox browser  to watch TPG IPTV till end of next year. Read more on https://blog.mozilla.org/futurereleases/2015/10/08/npapi-plugins-in-firefox/.
