Watch TPG IPTV using VLC media player

Since VLC plugin is not supported by the latest browsers due to deprecation of NPAPI plugin, the next best way to watch TPG IPTV is using VLC media player itself.

Here are five quick steps on how to watch TPG IPTV using VLC media player:

Note: You need to be a TPG ADSL2+ customers (with download speeds greater than 3.5Mbps at selected exchange locations) else it will not work. I am currently running on Windows 10 Pro and VLC media player 2.2.1.

Step 1

Download VLC media player and launch the application.

Click on “Media” -> “Open Network Stream…”

Step 3

Enter the following network URL: http://avenard.org/iptv/playlist-tpg-vlc.m3u and click “Play”.

Now you should see the following channels in your playlist.

Now save your TV channels by selecting all the channels and drag it to “Media Library”. Now you can start watching. Enjoy!
